02Editorial standards
Use an identifiable official or primary source for factual rules; explain its scope and any access limitation. Distinguish the rule from practical preparation suggestions. Do not invent reviewer credentials, testimonials, guaranteed outcomes or search-ranking claims. Financial and legal decisions require a qualified professional to check the individual facts.
03Review responsibility
A source-based editorial check is different from professional review. Where no individual author or qualified reviewer is credited, that limitation remains visible. A future professional review must identify the actual reviewer, relevant credentials, review scope and date; no badge or citation substitutes for that work.
04Dates and material changes

NRIdisha brings selected source-based explanations, practical preparation workflows and planning tools into one place. It is free, independent and non-commercial. Its purpose is information and education only.
07What is available
245 preparation guides cover property, investing, taxation, banking, inheritance, parents, citizenship, returning to India and checking advice. Ten calculators let you compare scenarios within their stated limits. The portal also includes form previews, a country-selection globe, a state directory, selected local procedures, SIR information, financial-change notices and an inflation learning hub. A tool’s presence does not imply exhaustive or professionally certified coverage.
08Government service research
The October 2026 official-services register publishes selected national, state and district routes with source-check dates, scope and access limitations. It is not an ingestion of every government website or a live feed. Entries based only on search extracts are marked; directory listings do not establish eligibility or fees. Existing local sources keep their earlier review dates. The register links to the reviewed evidence and shows uncovered locations.
09What geographic coverage means
All 28 states and 8 union territories have official directory links. Country search covers countries and territories for navigation; country-specific guidance is limited and marked. The local snapshot has not loaded, so a current entry count is not stated. A directory entry is not a complete account of municipal law, fees, eligibility or every procedure in that location.
10How to use a page
First read the situation, scope and date. Next open the original source and confirm that it applies to your location and tax year. Then prepare the relevant records and questions. Before acting or deciding not to act, confirm the current position with the responsible authority and an appropriately qualified CA, lawyer or other professional. 14Privacy and newsletter signup
You may browse and calculate without newsletter signup. Calculator drafts stay in tab memory during navigation; reloading clears them unless you select optional 30-day device saving. Persistent checklist storage requires your consent. Submitted newsletter requests use server storage. No portal account is needed. Email delivery is not active yet.
