01Who operates this version
This portal is maintained by Rohit Manchanda as an independent informational project. It does not present itself as a registered law firm, CA practice, financial adviser, medical service or government organisation. For questions, email support@nridisha.com. 02Non-commercial purpose and editorial independence
The purpose is to help overseas Indians find a clear starting point for their responsibilities in India. This version does not offer paid advice, referral commissions, paid rankings, sponsored placement, product execution or professional partnerships. A newsletter interest or country selection organises information; it is not a suitability assessment or an offer of a regulated service. We do not sell newsletter subscriber records. Any future change to this model would require clear disclosure and appropriate policy changes.
03How content is prepared
We identify relevant official or other clearly attributed sources, summarise selected points and organise practical preparation questions. Automated tools may assist research, drafting and calculations. Human or automated checks can miss information. An editorial summary, a search extract, an FAQ, a circular, an Act and a court judgment have different authority and must not be treated as interchangeable. We do not claim exhaustive coverage or a binding interpretation of the law.
04Dates, source labels and scheduled checks
A publication date belongs to the underlying material; an effective date says when a rule applies; a check date records when stated material was reviewed; an edition date identifies an update to this portal. None is professional certification. Selected scheduled checks can be delayed or fail. Existing content may remain as a dated snapshot. Read the latest applicable primary material and seek clarification from the issuing authority where sources conflict.
05Country, state and topic coverage
Navigation covers country and Indian state contexts, but detailed guidance is selective. A map, filter or topic page does not establish residence, jurisdiction, ownership, eligibility or treaty entitlement. Generalised map boundaries and place names are navigational and do not express a legal or political position. Missing coverage is an evidence gap, not proof that no obligation exists.
06Images, examples and third-party rights
The topic and homepage editorial scenes are AI-generated illustrations created with OpenAI. They do not depict actual clients, advisers, properties for sale or documented events. Official logos and form previews identify their sources and remain subject to the relevant third-party rights. Do not infer permission to reuse a logo or document from its presence here.
07Corrections and rights concerns
Send the page address, disputed passage, relevant official source, document or notice date and the correction you believe is needed by email to support@nridisha.com. For a rights concern, identify the work, your relationship to the rightsholder and the relevant image or text. We may investigate, correct, qualify or remove material; submission does not guarantee a particular response time or outcome. Avoid unnecessary personal information, case documents or allegations about named individuals.
08Community feedback and crisis information
Community votes express contributors’ priorities and do not establish the frequency, truth or legal merits of a complaint. Private messages are editorial feedback for the owner; they do not file an official grievance, initiate representation or secure a reply. Use the relevant authority for formal complaints and deadlines. Crisis pages provide dated official-source directories and general preparation prompts. They are not continuously monitored alerts, travel clearances, evacuation guarantees or emergency services. Historical notices remain labelled with their original dates.
09Limits of responsibility
The Disclaimer and Terms explain the informational nature of the portal, your verification responsibilities and the limits of liability to the extent permitted by law. Privacy and data-handling obligations are addressed separately in the Privacy policy. A disclaimer does not override mandatory legal duties or prevent a person from exercising non-waivable rights.
